Paris Baguette is one of the must-trys i would say! Visited twice so far. Located at Wisma Atria Level 2 (replaced Din Tai Fung), it is easily accessible and i like the ambience there. It is spacious and they have really cosy seats! I usually sit there for 1.5-2 hours. It is free seating so you can just find any seats and sit down first before going to the counter to order. The brunch and beverages are in the menu at the entrance while sandwiches, salads, breads, cakes and puddings are to be ordered over the counter.
Though it is named Paris Baguette, it is actually from Korea. Some of the staffs are actually Koreans!
I couldn't really remember the prices so i'll just give a rough gauge.
The very cool-looking kitchen
The tarts look so yummylicious!
From left to right:
Chocolat Blanc ($2.50) - Bread filled with white chocolate. It was a generous amount of white chocolate filling and it was creamy and flowy inside, but it was nothing special and too expensive for that small little bread!
Sweet Potato Cake (around $7.50) - Unique taste, it is my first time trying sweet potato cake and i've always wanted to try because of Seohyun as she is so crazy over sweet potatoes! The taste is quite light and not too sweet.
Royal Pudding, Original flavour (around $4-4.50) - The HIGHLIGHT. A must-try!!! It is damn awesome!!! It has 3 flavours, original, white chocolate and mango, but original is still the best. It is so smooth and taste damn nice and i have never tasted something like that anywhere else. But if you don't like sweet stuff you'd probably not like it. Comes in a cute bottle but it is actually quite pricey for such a small bottle. But i'm willing to pay!
Marron Mont Blanc cake ($8.50 if i'm not wrong) - Looks super yummy and pretty but it was nothing fanciful! Quite disappointed. The outer covering tasted like noodles and i remember there was a chocolate coating on the inside.
From left to right:
Wake Up Jane (around $6) - Somewhat like a breakfast bread, with sausage, cheese, seaweed and egg. Tasted normal. It would've been better if the waitress helped us heat up a little longer.
Seafood chowder (around $6.50 or more) - The waitress should have heated up a bit longer as well! It wasn't hot at all and it wasn't soupy on the inside as well. Lots of ingredients though but there are nicer seafood chowders out there.
Apple Pastry (around $4) - It was not bad, lots of apples and raisins, but also, would've been nicer if it was heated up a bit longer. Cold pastries are never nice. And the sides were hard.
Original and White Chocolate Pudding. Shared 1 with my friend when i went during the first time, but wasn't satisfying at all! So i had 2 to myself on my second visit hahaha. Because the original was so yummy and i wanted to try the white chocolate one as well. But i still like original better!
Saving the best for the last........... Introducing the Bacon Croissant Brunch ($17)!!!
It has croissants, mushrooms in cream sauce, bacons, potato wedges and greens. This is definitely one of the best brunch that i have ever tasted!!! (So far, the best brunch that i have tasted are this, Food for Thought, Dean&Deluca and Prive.) The croissant was so soft and sweet, i can never get enough of it. The mushrooms in cream sauce are simply addictive and a great pair with the croissant. The bacon is cooked just nice and so soft that you won't have troubles chewing it and wedges, yeah just hot and crispy. Must must must try if you are eating there, you won't regret!
The next time i visit again, i'm gonna try the strawberries and cream crepe cake. I heard it's nice!!!
